Kids Active

Go outside and play!

We believe play is essential to a happy, healthy life. The Everybody Plays Foundation offers recreational education to elementary and secondary students through extracurricular or school-based programs. More than education, Everybody Plays is also a lesson in teamwork, participation, commitment, and self-reliance. When a child learns to make his own fishing rod, he's happy. But when he catches his first trout on it, he becomes hooked on that feeling of success - doing it himself and making it happen.

Everybody Plays is committed to providing positive fitness role models who promote a healthy lifestyle and outdoor recreation of all kinds. We teach kayaking, archery, paddleboarding, track, and even how to hike and set up a camp in the great outdoors. When we teach an activity, we teach everything about it. How to:

  • care for your equipment or make it yourself
  • decide the best weather for the activity
  • find a good place to go
  • make sure you are safe and secure while doing it

Your support of Everybody Plays will help ensure our ability to serve more kids with great mentors teaching them how to just play.
